Step-by-Step:
1. Measure the Window Width (Outer Frame or Opening Area)
- Ensure your Model B bar’s range matches the window size.
2. Mark Bracket Positions on the Wall
- Hold the bar against the wall, centered over the window.
- Mark where the brackets will be anchored.
3. Drill Anchor Holes
- Use a masonry bit for concrete or brick, wood bit for framing.
- Drill pilot holes deep enough for the included anchors or screws.
4. Mount the Brackets to the Wall
- Insert wall anchors (if needed).
- Secure both brackets using the provided hardware.
5. Expand and Position the Bar
- Slide the bar until it fits firmly between the brackets.
- Confirm it’s level and centered.
6. Final Tightening
- Lock the bar into place.
- Check that there’s no wiggle or movement.
